Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs
If you love hard boiled eggs, you’ve got to start making them in the air fryer! The method couldn’t be easier, making it a cinch to have hard boiled eggs on hand whenever you need.
I prefer to use this method for my eggs because there’s no waiting for the water to boil, and it frees up valuable stove space in the morning! When you’re prepping for a big brunch party or even just breakfast for the family, anything that can make life easier is a winner in my book.

Why You’ll Love Using Your Air Fryer for Eggs
- No prep needed: You don’t need to poke holes or do anything special to make sure these eggs are cooked perfectly every time. The air fryer takes care of it!
- Make as many as you like! Because the air fryer is so efficient, you don’t need to worry about heating a whole pot of water just for a couple of eggs.
- Great for meal prep and batch cooking, so you can take care of breakfast or snacks for the whole week.
- You’ll get perfectly peeled eggs, every time.

You’ll need eggs, of course!
The only limit is how many eggs can fit into your air fryer basket without touching. Using 9 eggs gives them a nice amount of space around each egg for air flow, but you can do a full dozen as long as there is room.
You will also need an ice bath, so fill a large bowl with some ice and add some cold water. It should be big enough to hold all of the eggs.

How To Make Air Fryer Eggs

Step 1: Cook
Preheat the air fryer to 245°F. Set your eggs into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure there is space all around each one. Cook for 16 minutes.
Pro tip: Want to make jammy eggs? Simply adjust the cook time down to 11 minutes.

Step 2: Ice Bath
Remove the eggs and use a pair of tongs to transfer them to an ice bath. This stops the cooking so you don’t have dry eggs.

Step 3: Cool
Let the eggs sit in the ice bath to cool for a few minutes.

Step 4: Peel
Peel the eggs and eat, or save in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.
Storage Tips
If you’re not using your eggs right away, make sure to store them in the refrigerator.
Eggs that are unpeeled keep longer, lasting about 7 days. If you prefer to peel them all immediately to save time later, it’s best to eat them within a few days.

Whether you’re enjoying these hard-boiled eggs as part of your breakfast routine or want to make a batch of creamy egg salad, you’ll love how easy they are to make—and that they come out perfect every time!
